This year as we sit around the table to count our blessings, we give thanks to those that did life with us, those that cried with us, prayed for us, and gave us a hug when times got tough. We give thanks for the laughs, the challenges, the time of despair, and the times of high-fives. We are thankful for the struggle and the times when everything fell into place. We give thanks for the curveballs, the zig-zags, and the bumpy roads we traveled. Without hardships, we would not have had the opportunity to have hope, without trials, the times when we were comforted.
Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.”– Melody Beattie
We take it all in and give thanks to the One, the giver of all good things.
